Tom Scotland is remembered by the townsfolk near Drub Lane, Hunsworth

Tom was honoured with a memorial to the crash of a Halifax bomber he was piloting in 1943. Townsfolk from Drub near Gomersal arranged for and funded the memorial with community and local council help.

Instrumental to the memorial were Spen Valley Civic Society and Erica Amende who took on the project as a personal investment.
